Alexia Mitchell is a Licensed Clinical Therapist-Associate and the Founder & Owner of Reset and Heal, PLLC, where she provides expert mental health consulting and support to private sector businesses, churches, nonprofit organizations, and educational institutions. In addition to her consulting work, Alexia offers individual clinical therapy to both children and adults through her private practice.
In 2024, Alexia and her husband, Hasani Mitchell, co-founded the Black Mental Health Summit, the first of its kind in Winston-Salem, NC. Held annually, the summit continues to advance mental health awareness and advocacy within the Black community.
Alexia holds a Bachelor of Arts from Winston-Salem State University and earned her Master of Social Work degree after completing graduate studies at UNC-Greensboro and North Carolina A&T.
Her leadership and dedication to community impact have earned her a range of prestigious accolades, including the 2022 Greater Winston Leadership Under 40 Award, the 2023 WSSU 40 Under 40 Award, the 2024 University of North Carolina-Greensboro Department of Social Work Pacesetter Award, and the esteemed 2024 Dr. Vivian H. Burke Minority Business of the Year Award.
Alexia is deeply committed to community service and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Mental Health Association of Forsyth County, the Center for Creative Economy, and the Advisory Board for the Black Philanthropy Initiative. She is also an active member of the Winston-Salem Chapter of Jack & Jill of America, Incorporated, where she serves as Chapter Editor.
A proud wife to Hasani Mitchell and a devoted mother to three children, Khristian, Hasani Jr., and Kai. Alexia remains passionate about making a positive, lasting impact on both her family and the community she serves.
